The District Review awards the annual Regionality Prize in cooperation with the province of Upper Austria and other partners to honour companies, associations and initiatives that are committed to regional value creation and an improved quality of life in Upper Austria.
The digital marketplace in St. Florian:
Since its opening on 9 April 2020, the digital marketplace in St. Florian has established itself as a popular point of contact. Products ordered online or by phone from regional suppliers can be collected centrally via the pick-up station. This system enables residents to shop locally and collect their orders flexibly and in an environmentally friendly way.
Advantages of the digital marketplace:
-Time saving: Customers can have parcels and postal items delivered to a locker and collect them together with their purchases, saving time and travelling.
-Making the community centre more attractive: The central pick-up station increases customer frequency and revitalises the local businesses.
